1. PURE GOLD CHEESE FACTORY :
Watch how cheese is made, flavoured and stored, right from scratch, in this boutique factory. Watching cheese melt is one of the most satisfying things we’ve ever seen .There are 5 flavours of cheese spreads available: Garlic and herbs, smoked cheddar, plain cream, Indian summer, and pepper jack.
Their best selling is the Garlic and herb spread! The beautifully balanced spread is prepared with dried garlic and a combination of herbs including basil. The moment you taste this spread you would know exactly why it’s the most famous one. We could lick it clean!
2. KING BERRY WINE :
Wine made with locally grown strawberries is just a 15 min drive from MAPRO gardens. Just the thought of strawberry and wine is just too exciting! ?
3. STRAWBERRY AND CREAM :
Well, this is the most loved thing in Maha , you’ll find it everywhere, from the smallest of the smallest eatery, to the big gardens like Mapro, but the best we’ve had so far is at the MALA gardens. Since this is the fastest selling dessert there, the cream gets stocked quicker, and therefore it is always fresh.
4. MARSHMALLOWS :
Located bang in the middle of the busiest ‘shopping’ street, is the oldest bakery of Maha: ELSIE’S DAIRY & BAKERY. They have the most scrumptious line of desserts and bakery items. Our fav are the marshmallows, which are eggless and gelatine free. Perfect with that hot chocolate cuppa!
5. BLUEBERRIES AND CARROTS :
The streets leading to the magic land are lined with people selling strawberries, carrots, and blueberries, don’t judge them from their looks, they may look unattractive, but they’re damn tasty and high in antioxidants!
